Private In Home Training
It’s hard to find time for dog training and exercise even though it should be a part of our everyday routine. Families are often pulled apart because of the behavior of their dog. A trainer not only has to help the dog but also help the family understand what is required to get everyone on the same page. If you are looking to add a new member to the family, puppy training is a great way to get off to a good start.
Basic Obedience is the start of you and your dogs relationship. It is the very foundation of mutual trust. Using positive reinforcement techniques, you will learn how to communicate with your dog and he will want to mind you. This will enable you to understand everyday behaviors, control your dog in uncontrollable situations and help you become the ultimate pack leader.
Free Evaluation
The evaluation is an opportunity for you to get to know us, as well as for us to understand your needs as a dog owner. We want you to feel secure about our recommendation on a program customized for you and your canine kid(s). The evaluation enables us to observe you and your dog and lets you ask questions till you are comfortable with us and our abilities to help you and your dog.
Basic Obedience Training
Benefit of using our private training over group classes: one-on-one instruction, your energy is always in check by your trainer, questions answered immediately, no distractions until the dog is ready, save time, stress and gas traveling to and from a class, no room for frustration, having access to a trainer on call at anytime, a detailed summary of follow up exercises and handout of tips and homework.
Dogs are often overwhelmed in group classes causing the dog to be overstimulated and the owner to get frustrated. Puppies need to start training as soon as possible and by the time they have there shots for puppy classes they already know many bad behaviors. Neither is necessary or helpful. Take advantage of our private training lessons to get you and your family (even your kids) on the right track.

Basic Obedience Training and Behavior
If you are just starting out with many questions and issues with a puppy or adult dog, I offer an introductory session that last around 2 hours. It covers everything you need to know from potty training, walking on a leash, behavioral issues such as aggression or anxiety and how to give your dog boundaries. This lasts approximately 2 hours for $150. It is intense with a lot of information that will be typed up and written to you in a report style email so you will always have the information to look back on when needed. It is also encouraged that you maintain an email/phone relationship with us for any questions you have throughout your dogs life.
Any follow up sessions are $60 and hour.
Puppy Training from beginning to end. I recommend this starts before you get your pup. We can help you puppy proof the house, get the necessary materials, and thoroughly go over the basic needs and instructions for introducing a new pup to your home and family. Training starts from day one. It also includes help in choosing the right breed and temperament for your family. Includes endless assistance and lessons for as long as needed, typically till the pup reaches 6-8 months of age. Prices range depending on the age of the pup. Call for all the details.

A trainer must be able to pull out different training techniques depending on the dog and family. This is where it can get tricky. Trainers must identify the personality and drive of the dog to determine the best method.
